Yep, All the Fairy Haters can go and cry now.
Basically, I'm fully sold now with this game. Any doubts I had, which were few, are now gone! Noivern looks awesome, The Pokemon chosen to be fairy-typed are well-chosen, and what's more, We actually get to hear cries for the starters! I'm still wondering why Marill got the fairy type though...

I made a massive assumption about the whole of your fanbase, when I should have been more specific about the white-knights within. Nevertheless, I feel sorry for doing such a thing, and I beg your forgiveness.

Agreed, but I'm willing to bet that their evos will get the same typing...it would be stupid if jigglypuff's line got it and not clefairy, seeing as it's the first real fairy in the series. I wonder who else will get the typing. I must say however that I'm currently unimpressed with the new eeveelution, as it looks horrid and doesn't quite resemble an evo of eevee. The whole bowtie design makes me think that they ran out of ideas with that one, and just through in nothing but ribbons and bows...which have absolutely nothing to do with fairies. If it was to be based on a fairy, it should resemble nature, or spiritual things related to life and beauty, Sylveon represents none of these things...should have been designed better. I am impressed with the other fairy, though in my opinion it would probably be better suited to have a dual typing of Fairy/Grass, seeing as it always has to have a flower.
